Thankful

12 Oct

Thank you Ronald McDonald House Charities for the grant that allowed Art On Wheels Inc. to provide this creative experience to individuals at Hattie Larlham withTrinity Farm of the Western Reserve!  My educational equestrian booklet was donated to this project. It makes me so happy to see people enjoying the work we do here at The Plaid Pony and through Art On Wheels Inc.  It has been a blast working with all who participated! Everyone has done an outstanding job! I hope you enjoy this sample of photos from the past couple of weeks. More photos of our adventures in recycled material crafts, photo coloring, and combined hands-on educational equine and art experiences are on the Art On Wheels, Inc. fan page.

Interactive Book Launching Tour Stop Number One!

5 Jun

Thank you Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Legacy Village for supporting us! We were honored to be part of story-time today  reading our Red, Yellow, and Blue book to local youngsters. Afterwards everyone enjoyed a  photo coloring activity and got their feet(hands) wet with basic color mixing. Our next stop is the Coventry Street Fair in conjunction with Mac’s Backs Bookstore June 17th!

At each location Carolina Martin, the Author of Red, Yellow, and Blue, will provide an engaging and educational story time.

Our desire is to create lasting, re-usable goods for you and your loved ones even down to our packaging. Each art activity kit comes in a re-usable canvas tote. We also printed each wooden tag using a hand-carved stamp we made ourselves.

An example of some of the stamps we’ve hand-made for art kits. Each bird is cut or carved and placed on a cut section of a tree branch, many of which have come from our own backyard. Throughout the summer we will be making art kits from our tour available for purchase on our website and Etsy Shop.
