Thankful

12 Oct

Thank you Ronald McDonald House Charities for the grant that allowed Art On Wheels Inc. to provide this creative experience to individuals at Hattie Larlham withTrinity Farm of the Western Reserve!  My educational equestrian booklet was donated to this project. It makes me so happy to see people enjoying the work we do here at The Plaid Pony and through Art On Wheels Inc.  It has been a blast working with all who participated! Everyone has done an outstanding job! I hope you enjoy this sample of photos from the past couple of weeks. More photos of our adventures in recycled material crafts, photo coloring, and combined hands-on educational equine and art experiences are on the Art On Wheels, Inc. fan page.

Trinity Farm of the Western Reserve

4 May

I’m very pleased to finally be able to share one of the reasons I have been so BUSY lately! I have been working with Trinity Farm of the Western Reserve on many Plaid Pony design projects as well as Art On Wheels Inc. collaborative programs.

First and foremost,  Trinity Farm of the Western Reserve’s website is now fully functional!

For those of you who don’t know, ” Trinity Farm of the Western Reserve offers a combination of therapeutic, recreational and agricultural programs in a Christian environment. The Farm is designed to be handicapped accessible so that no person is restricted from participating due to structural barriers. Trinity Farm offers the highest quality of care for children, adults, and horses in a family friendly atmosphere. ”

We also just wrapped up Therapeutic Riding Program printed materials. The image on the front was taken during a pony painting session to promote a combination of hands-on equestrian and visual art education programs.

One such collaborative effort between Trinity Farm of the Western Reserve and Art On Wheels Inc. will take place this summer for  individuals of all abilities! If you are interested in participating  please don’t hesitate to call the farm for more information as there are a limited number of spots for each week.
